In this section, you will find detailed information about specific wildlife watching tourism issues and solutions happening around the world.

Wildlife tourism is an activity through which it is possible to observe wild animals almost anywhere around the world. Human-wildlife encounters are an important segment in tourism, and it has rapidly grown in many countries in recent decades, with sometimes, huge economic impacts in certain areas. However, wildlife tourism has to be managed in order to make this activity sustainable with minimal impacts on animals and their environment. Indeed, wildlife tourism can result in a range of negative effects, which may vary from short-term changes on individual animals to long-term effects on entire populations.
